A week ago, I attended English IV just like any other day... Except the atmosphere was different. Not the joy of almost graduating or about the new freedoms that I gained being 18, but the enthusiastic feel of feminism. A girl was wearing a T-shirt saying 'Yea I run like a girl, Try to keep up!' and a group of our fellow heroines degraded her for it because it was 'offensive'!... I would like to announce that FCC (USA) had passed their rules. The bill is for a good purpose, but will be carried out in a strict and ridiculous matter. With that being said, the government can now regulate the internet. They can use what you search on line as a weapon when you do speak out, limit Freedom of Speech, and redirect articles into what they want you to see. Republicans claim they can achieve all the positives without all the negatives in 6 page bill instead of the 400 FCC page bill.... "The most terrifying words in the English language are: I'm from the government and I'm here to help."- Ronald Reagan. The topic I want to discuss is Net Neutrality. I do NOT want my Freedom of Speech restricted, the media should be able to publish whatever he or she sees fit (NOT controlled by the government), etc. I am NOT just another American wanting my voice heard, I demand my voice to be not glanced upon, but enacted on. My fellow Americans have either talked or listened to someone on how their/other governments have watched their citizens, 'protecting' them while when they try to speak out, the government will embarrass or kill them du
